Two ways to work with us

Through Scale Detailing, detail shops around the country run on our ads, websites, software and sales reps. Owners who want to sell a service business, or bring a partner into one, talk to us as well. One form covers both.

Which path is yours

Keep your shop, or bring us in

On the first path you keep running the shop. We handle the ads, the website and the follow-up, the way we worked them out in our own detail bay first. Scale Detailing is how we put that behind other shops.

The second path is for an owner who wants out, or who would rather have a partner that already runs service businesses. We buy into a business only if we would run it ourselves. The money comes out of the companies we already operate, nobody else's, so the decision sits with the person who will live with it afterward.

Both paths start with the same form. Say which one you mean and we take it from there.

Put Scale Detailing behind your shop

You keep the shop and the name on the door. We take care of bringing customers in and following up with them, on the same software that books our own shop's calendar today. Scale Detailing is the company we do this through, and the only one of ours that works with shops we do not own.

How it starts
  1. The audit comes first and costs nothing. We read through your ads, your website, your Google Business Profile and your follow-up before anyone gets on a call.
  2. Then a call, where we walk you through what we found and what we would change first.
  3. We set a start date on that same call.
What is included
  • Meta and Google ads for your detailing, ceramic coating, PPF and tint offers
  • A site that shows up in search for what you sell
  • Work on your Google Business Profile
  • Follow-up that runs on its own in OmniScale
  • Sales reps who call your leads
  • Attribution in Scale Command, so you can see what each job cost to win
Scale Equity Ventures · sell it, or take on a partner

Sell or partner your business

Sell us the business outright, or take us on as a partner in it. Either way the person across the table is the operator who stays in it afterward, because we run what we own. We look at every business on its own numbers.

What we look for
  • An owner-run service business, where the person who answers the phone is the person we talk to
  • Detailing anywhere in the US; other trades in the Mid-Atlantic
  • A working calendar with paying customers already on it, which we read before anything else
  • An owner ready to sell, or open to a partner who runs what he owns
How it works
  1. Send a message through the form. Your trade and your market are enough to start with.
  2. Our founder gets on a call with you: your shop, your calendar, what you want out of this.
  3. Then we look at the numbers you already have.
  4. We work out a structure that fits you and the business.
  5. The close moves at your pace.

Whatever you share stays between you and us, from the first message through the close.

What we are not

We are not a fund, and we do not broker businesses for other people. We own our companies and we run them, day to day.

Scale Detailing works with detailing, ceramic coating, PPF and tint shops, and no other trade. On a sale or a partnership, the question is whether it is a business we would step into and run. Usually not a fit: a business with no customers yet, or a trade outside the Mid-Atlantic unless it is detailing. Write anyway if you sit outside those lines. You will get a reply, and a straight answer if the fit is not there.

Four answers, before you write

Do I keep my shop if I work with Scale Detailing?
Yes. You keep the shop and the name on the door. We handle the ads, the website, the Google Business Profile, the follow-up and the reps who call your leads, and the work stays on your calendar.
Where do you buy or partner on businesses?
Detailing anywhere in the US. Other trades in the Mid-Atlantic. We look for an owner-run service business with a working calendar and paying customers on it.
What do I need to send to start?
A message with your trade and your market. That is enough for the first call. The numbers come after the call, not before.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes, from the first message through the close. There is no sales team and no broker in between; the form goes to our founder.
