Privacy policy
This site collects very little: what you type into our contact form, and a count of page visits. Here is what happens to both.
Who we are
Scale Equity Ventures is a brand of Scale Equity Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means Scale Equity Group LLC. It covers this website, scaleequityventures.com. Our companies run their own websites, and each of those has its own policy.
What the contact form collects
The form on our contact page asks for:
- your name
- your email address
- your business or website, if you choose to add it
- what your message is about, picked from a short list
- your message
We use it to read your message and write back. If you ask about growing a shop, partnering with us or selling a business, we also use it to follow up on that conversation. We don't add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us, and we don't sell what you send or share it with anyone for their marketing.
Who handles it
A few outside services sit between your browser and our inbox.
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the contact form and delivers it to our email. Their own privacy terms cover how they handle it in transit.
- Vercel hosts this site. Like any web host, it receives standard request details when it serves a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for.
- OmniScale Analytics, our own analytics service, counts visits to this site. More on that below.
Our fonts and images load from this site itself. We don't run advertising pixels or ad network trackers here.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't save anything in your browser's local storage. The light or dark look follows your device setting, so there is nothing to remember.
OmniScale Analytics records page views along with general details such as the page that sent you here, your browser, your device type and your country. It works without cookies, and we use it to see which pages people read, not to identify anyone.
How long we keep it
Messages from the form stay in our email for as long as we need them to answer you, carry on the conversation and keep normal business records. Analytics stays as visit counts. If you want your message deleted sooner, ask and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we have from you, correct it or delete it. Email help@scaledetailing.com or send a note through the contact form, and tell us the name and email you used so we can find it. We answer these requests without charge.
Children
This site is meant for business owners. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us something, let us know and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of the page.
